How to set a picture in a thread?

How do you set pictures on here in threads?

Hi.
The way I do it is, first of all I upload the photo in one of my profile albums, I copy the URL from the photo provides me once its uploaded (I think it shows on the right lower side of the picture) and then when I type a comment I click on that little green square with a little tree wherever I want the picture in the comment and then I paste the URL.
