So a good friend bought me a bottle of deva gel angel , she is a sweety, any way I was o excited to use As I love hearing about the curly girl creator I thin she is Amazing , but the gel is extremely overpriced and my hair feels so dry , my hair looks ok but I literally get better results with inexpensive products, I used to think high end expensive was better but not for me anyway else use deva hair care did it work for you

I have used this for years. I LOVE it, but then again, my hair is fine and wavy not curly. It is the only product that doesn't weigh my hair down. I usually seal my ends first with Monoi Oil and then apply the gel or I sometimes mix them together.

I think it is a nice gel but I get dried out from it too. You could try a Leave in conditioner, oil to seal ends and even a humectant layered on before you add the gel. This will make a softer look as well.

Sometimes people are sensitive to glycerine and the deva products have that in them.
