    Default re-arranging photos

Is there a way to move the photos in an album around?

In uploading a group, I noticed it puts it in alphabetical order. If I change the file name of the photo as it appears in the album (to alphabetical) will that cause a problem the photo appearing?

What I did was to add an "a, b, c", etc. to the file name on the computer, upload them, then I had to go back and change the file name on the computer (just because I don't want them in that order in my own files).

While I'm thinking of it, is there a way to move photos between albums, or do you have to re-upload them?

    Thanks!
ETA: I notice that in going back to my album after posting this, that the pics are back in NOT alphabetical order, but how they appeared the first time round (I'm assuming because I removed the alphabetical order on my computer? I don't know) I also tried changing the name of the photo as it appears in the album and that didn't work.

I've noticed this, too. I think they load by most recently edited (or created) first, no matter what you title them or where.... (I suppose this is so people checking into your album just to see the newest pix will have them right there?)

I would like to be able to re-order, too -- I'll wait and see what the Mods say!

That would be a nice feature. I would like to rearrange mine.

As far as I know, you can not rearrange your photos. You will have to re-upload them. However, if anyone can figure out how to rearrange without re-uploading them, I sure would love to know how to do that.

I think that part of the problem is that if people have left comments on a photo, that would have to be moved as well.

I'm fairly certain that photos cannot be rearranged, only re-uploaded.

Any news on this? A bunch of my older photos were lost due to adminly tasks, and I'd like to replace them chronologically.

snowbear, as far as I know there is no solution for re-arranging photos. If I were you, I would simply re-upload them in the correct order. Mine are all over the place but I just live with it.

Thanks so much for your reply. I think I might reupload them when I get the originals off the other computer.

    Thanks so much!
