So I found this gifset on tumblr:




And while the specifics aren't accurate (ponytails are more than fine!), I immediately imagined an LHCer having an elaborate hairdo that's clearly not gentle to hair and then whipping it off in front of non-LHCers who were baffled that they used a wig "But you have such long hair!" "Like I'd ever backcomb that much!"

OMG I used to do that all the time when I was a kid. I would tie a weight to the bottom of my braid and whip my high ponytail around in a circle, or just direct it at some stupid boy who was teasing me. It *may* have landed me in detention more than once

And when it's even longer you can just take your braid in your hand and use it as a whip. I might or might not have done that And I might or might not have accidently whipped a friend with my ponytail while headbanging during a concert a few years ago

I never put a weight on a braid (although I did consider it at least once), but I constantly playfully whip my boyfriend with my braid (and my friends, and my siblings...). It's right there, what else am I supposed to do with it?
