Microtrimming?
Hi
I have the most obnoxious layers in my hair right now and I want to start micro trimming so I can slowly get rid of them over time while keeping as much length as I possibly can. The ends of these layers are damaged and they just don't look nice! What is the best way to micro trim? I searched and couldn't find anything here. A video would be lovely, since I'm a very visual learner. I searched youtube and was unable to find anything helpful.
Thank you!

I'd say trim away half of your growth to get rid of the layers. I'm not sure if there's a way for trimming your layers because of the damage, so I'd S&D.

Thank you, but how do I go about doing a micro trim so I'm doing it evenly? There has to be a method, right? Not just grab and snip...lol

Emichee has a video on micro trimming, here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWRJ57j1AyI
Emi has a blog http://www.longhairedatheart.blogspot.ca/ She seems to have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to hair.
Hope you'll find this helpful.
