I've experimented with my hair color too, but not because I didn't like it. I didn't like my birth name, so the one I used in high school I was trying to be more like a horror movie character with the same name, so I dyed it blonde in Grade 11. It wasn't long before I got tired of it (mostly because I reverted back to the name I ended up legally changing it to, which is the same one I have to this day) and tried to get my old color back (strawberry blonde), but because of the lightener, the reddish blonde kept washing out, so I dyed it golden brown and then chestnut brown (which seemed to stick until I grew it out in my senior year) because somebody said it was still red when I thought it was brown so I went a bit darker to get rid of the red. Now it's a medium brown that fades to golden brown in the sun (my old color of strawberry blonde faded to a dark golden blonde).
