I hope so, Bat. Thanks for your support, it is appreciated.

I may still be here for year myself, my growth has slowed some, this is a fact. Due to shrinkage my hair can appear a couple of inches shorter.

I tried to get a proper length shot, but I need an extra pair of hands. In the meantime, this gives an idea of how far I still have to go. Patience.

Thanks, and yes, I lost a lot of the brown. If I were to pixie it would be mostly silver, not going to happen, though.

    No pixie for you!
I really need to stop fussing over my hair, my newest annoyance is that I look like I have a receding hairline but I'm sure it's what they call a 'mature' hairline, whatever it is called I don't like it D: great starting photo there

Mature hairline, not receding. Your hair in your avatar shows some obvious growth, Bat. You are on your way.

luluj, your color is so pretty! And I really like your avatar too!
Bat, I agree that your avatar shows clear growth. Seems like you're sticking to it! Stay strong.

Friends, I think I'm finally ready to call it. It's still sort of hovering around APL depending on how I angle my head, and it's so hard to take an accurate picture by myself because I have to actively pull my curls down, but I feel ready to say I've hit it when I'm trying to stand as straight as possible. I feel wildly proud of myself for not cutting it and I feel like I'm finally past the awkward stage where I ALWAYS cut it. It's the longest it's been in years and years.

Thanks for getting me through the rough parts! Now on to MBL...

Excellent news! I don’t know what it is about APL, but it has a magnetic field that simultaneously makes hair take forever to reach it, and take forever to escape it.

haha yeah that's what I'm feeling right now. I think it's because it's hard to discern where the heck it is. Arms move a lot, the angle of the head moves a lot. There's like flesh and fat at the armpit level that makes it hard to tell where exactly we're talking about. It seems to change every time I try to look at it.
