Welcome back! noamigrace
Same hereTinyponies I was just saying that waist will be the longest and healthiest it's every been thst I can remember myself taking care of
Welcome here, naomigrace! We seem to be in quite similar situations, I also cut my hair off 2 years ago from WL.
Me too. I had it “long” as a child and into my early 20s but never much past bsl as I knew nothing about how to care for long hair. Wore it down most of the time and then my mum would start saying I had “rats tails” and encouraging me to have it cut. I’m certain now that my hairs are fine and really fragile (even back in the day, I loved my long hair AND the rats tails. I love animals. I never wanted to cut it and always felt sad after. And I still prefer wild things to neat ones!) so obviously it would tangle and break a lot.
Haha I'm the same way just prefer my hair to do its thing.
My longest as a child was tbl. And I remember being in 3rd grade HL at the time & my aunt cutting it to chin. Now looking back I think she was trying to be mean spirited but at the time I was so happy that I was given a "choice". It was never that long again
Hello all! This is my first post after several years of silence. Here’s my current length and natural texture.
I think I’m still about 5cm / 2in from waist. At the moment I’m really frustrated about my v-shaped hemline, which seems to have become much more pronounced in the last three months and I’m not exactly sure why.
Welcome back to the LHC, Commedia!Your hair is beautiful! My hair also wants to become a V or deep U shape if I leave it be, now I won't leave it be for quite some time since I need to trim away damage and layers, but I relate.
Welcome (back) Commedia your hair looks lovely and you don’t have far to go to waist. Are you wearing your hair down a lot - could it be causing the hairs that rest by your shoulders to slow? I def have ones at the back of my head that grow a lot faster.
I managed to get a nautilus bun to stay in for the first time today - must be making some progress length-wise. Stayed in all day fixed with a single stick that started off vertical but ended up a little bit slanty. So pleased, I love the lwb but the way I’ve been doing it, it looks exactly the same as my disc bun. I’m sure there’s something yet to figure out there.
