Hi all! I was growing my hair out APL to BSL a few years ago when a mishap involving trying to turn my henna hair blue resulted in my practically going bald! D: I left the forum for a while but have now returned to grow my hair with you all!

I wasn't even really paying attention to my hair growth beyond getting it out of the not-bald phase, till lo and behold I wake up one morning to find my hair kinda sorta looking longish? And I was like "Whoa my hair is almost APL!" and then remembered this site and voila. Sadly my hair is actually about 3 inches from APL in actuality (1.5 inches from APL wet--wavy hair woo hoo) so I still have a ways to go. Anyway hello everybody, hope I can join ya!

Mine's at flip stage too - so much so it seems to be growing out rather than down. I have a feeing it's going to be like this for at least the rest of this year for me, if not longer. I truly hope it'll be a far shorter wait for you!

I'm growing out from a bob and can relate to the "bell" shape comment. I can't wait until the end of the year when I can get a small trim to fix that.

LOL! That's basically my hair right now, only in pastel pink. I kinda dig it, when my hair's behaving, but it generally just looks so awkward. Thank goodness for updos!
