Finies with M hairs - where? how?

My hair is MOSTLY fine--with just a few medium hairs mingled in--it seems like the most medium hairs congregate where a ponytail band would go (back-center of head). I would say that only about 10% of my hairs are medium, so they don't really bug me & I wish I had more of them!

Whoa! I'm the only one that voted F with M on the sides.My hair is exactly that. My crown is super soft and fine but when it comes to my sides and ends-it's course.My under layer is fine as well.I'm part of the updo challenge and I think the reason why I'm part of it is because when my hair is down,all I see is the course hair.Of course,that's probably not the case,but that's what I see

My fines and mediums are evenly mixed throughout my hair, as are my ~1-2% coarse hairs. So I really can't treat any of them differently!

There is a higher concentration of fines on my temples (argh!) hairline, and at the nape of my neck. Everywhere else, they are mixed in together.

So I voted "cheese!" since there was no option that best described me.
