Wear hair up for a month/few months/year challenge!

I am at day 15 now, I made a hairstick bun variation today, I really have trouble keeping track of how many days I am in the challenge. my first day was Oct 14th but I don't think remembering the date will help me that much - I'll have to count days all over again in a week when I forget which exactly day it is......... how do you guys deal with counting?

Hoping to learn new things that I can do with my hair. I think this will be interesting since I am in between APL and BSL. I will search for new updos that I can master with this length.

I don't necessarily have my hair up at home - I cannot stand the feeling at the roots after a day in an updo, it's just unbearable, I HAVE to let my hair fall loose for couple hours... It's not cheating, right? I mean, updos are for protection and when I'm home I don't do anything harming and when I do I get my hair up.

My hair has been up everyday, I can't remember what was what, but today, October 11th, Day 1049, after a wash, and Cham Tea rinse a cinna clippy bun.

Long time no type :o nothing new to report, up everyday :D Updo Day 1072 today.

My go to styles have been cinna clippy w/3 octi clips, English braids. I've more recently began switching it up between French and Dutch too. I wore a Flexi-8 today as a ponytail and English braided the tail.

Make a list of updos you can do and simply choose a different one each day. I think it's easier to vary updos this way, because I tend to forget a LOT of updos, when I'm tired in the morning. ;)
I try to do this for November, every day something different, and until now it worked great.

WOW, I haven't posted here in FIFTY EIGHT DAYS!!

Though - I never fell off the updo wagon. I also had a trip to the US to see the lovely Lunarennui get married and picked up a couple of sets of spin pins, which I LOVE and have made just about every updo since hold like a rock.

So... Day 151: Nautilus held by long french clip. (No spin pins today because I was only doing housework)

That's it, I'm taking a little break now till after Christmas, though I suppose my hair will still be up most of the time. Since I started I've grown just over two inches, I think, including a very tiny trim, so thanks to you all for giving me some great updo ideas, and helping me to neglect my hair a bit and protect the ends. I'll be back in the New Year, I expect... :waving:
