    Default Tomato sauce for lightning

Has anyone ever used tomato sauce in the hair for lightening?? Does it work? I was thinking to try tomato sauce cardamom powder and turmeric together to lighten some of my length but I dont know if it would work.

I did lighten my hair up abit with tomato honey and evoo but I dont have enough honey and evoo for another treatment so im trying to see if I can do a treatment without the honey and evoo. Any suggestions??

Sounds like it would counteract green nicely but turn any kind of blonde orange! Particularly turmeric, that stuff stains fiercely.

I'll be interested to see if anyone has tried such a mix.

Would it stain temporarily (the turmeric, that is), or would it stick around like a box dye? I might actually try it

I might be concerned with the acid in the tomato sauce damaging my hair.

I doubt it would work that well.

In my many, many hours of henndigo lightening research, I found one person who said tomato sauce worked and the rest who tried it said it didn't work. Who knows, it might work for you ad it most likely won't do much, if any, damage.

It worked for me but I was just wondering if it would work alone without honey and evoo or not.

I've tried tomarto sauce as in the jar ones and it lightened a little bit, tomartoes release a natural peroxide the same as honey does, the acid in it is no different than vinegar, however although over time it would work the smell is nauseating and for the time it would take to lighten its not worth it.

Vitamin c crystalls. Mixed in shampoo are none damaging and help pull colour out of the hair and also I'd think citric acid in conditioner would overtime lighten hair but may be drying. Honey has been the most successful in gradually lightening hair from my experience.

Tis is true also, also people who used dye prior to hendigo for sme reason had more success.
