I choose "depending on the bun" but I really mean "depending on my mood, and what my hair feels like doing". Sometime I just can't get my hair to lay right without a part.
Yes, I always have a part.
No, I always comb my hair back.
Depending on the bun.
My chesse has a part.
I was wondering this yesterday. When I wear my hair in a bun, I always wear a deep left part to create a 'side bangs' look, and I feel it frames my face better than a middle part does. This can make making certain buns harder to make, but it feel it is worth the trouble.

For ponytails, I pull it all back. For buns, even though I begin by sweeping it back, my hair tends settle into a part for 1-2 inches beginning at the front hairline. For French twists I wear my regular center part.
I'm a little piggy! (^(oo)^)v
I always wear a part, because I like the appearance of a 'side bang' as well. I feel like I look odd if I pull it all straight back without a part. :/
I always comb my hair back, then section it in two parts, or sometimes 3, depending on what bun I'm creating.
To me a bun looks more aesthetically appealing without the line down the center of your head.
I always comb my hair back. I have a bone structure that prefers no hair in the way of it.
Well, that's one year down since pixie. I have been knighted as 'turbo grower.'
I always brush my hair back, but very frequently my hair will settle into a relaxed, slightly swooshy part, depending on how tight my updo is.
I always brush my hair straight back
i always comb my hair back for buns and ponytails. because my hair parts at front hairline itself even if i comb back, so i secure my hair with pins without being parted again and then i bun or pony my hair.
Trying to grow my hair to TB length as soon as possible
I do, but only because I still braid my growing-out bangs to the side so they're out of the way.
