EmergentGlassworks - octopus sticks, carnivorous plants, roses

So while traipsing around Etsy, we stumbled upon this shop called EmergentGlassworks. I sent him a convo asking if he could make his carnivorous plant pot-stickers into hairsticks, and if he could pop an octopus onto a stick while he was at it.

Needless to say, he did.

And the sticks are amazing!

Octopus in yellow/amber

Flytraps in red/green stripe

I also grabbed a pair of earrings to match the octopus stick. They're the standard dangle clip with the galss tentacle attached.

I wouldn't hesitate to order again - the sticks are a little long, but the length helps balance out the topper. In fact, I'll probably be heading back for one in every color.

My fellow hairtoy lovers on the Hairtoy Addicts thread got in on the initial octopus rush, leading him to make a regular listing for custom color orders, and now a hairstick subsection.

Okay, I will post mine here as well. I love my happy little Octopus and the matching stick he made with the lovely glass ball on top. I too am very pleased with this seller. He worked fast and the detail on this little guy is more than I could have asked for. It arrived today so I am still jumping up and down with excitement!!

Wow! I actually have etsy open in another tab and was just looking at these! One question (coming from a newbie who just managed her first pencil bun this morning), are the actual sticks made of glass as well? Do they feel pretty sturdy? I'm having horrifying visions of shattering glass with my inept fumbling...

Yes, the sticks are glass. If you are worried, you might ask him to make the sticks a bit thicker, that would make them a bit more sturdy. I do try not to put too much torque on it though. I want to be very careful, because I love them so much!
