Question WEN hair care products (including lawsuit)

I was up in the middle of the night last night and was flipping through channels.. I happened to stop on an infomercial and it was about a "new" hair care system. It is called Wen Hair Care. It is so "new" and different because it is not a shampoo.. it is a cleansing conditioner.. lol.. like that is new.. lol.. Anyhow.. have any of you seen or heard about this product?..

Oh, but it's developed by celebrity stylist Chaz Dean! How could you be so suspicious with a selling point like that?

Being in the UK, I haven't heard of it before. It looks pretty much like normal stuff though, nothing on the website made me want to swith from my 99p conditioner, or throw away my shampoo. Very nicely designed website and packaging though, I'll give them that.

ETA: The "Sweet Almond Cleansing Conditioner" contains at least one -cone for anyone interested in the ingredients.

I actually saw that over a month ago. I woke up way too early, so I flipped on the TV and that commercial was on.

I especially liked the part where the lady goes on about how damaging sulfates are. "Just think of how many times you've used shampoo on your hair... all the damage you've done!" You don't say...

    Some LHC spymethods. *sigh*
Maybe the great stylist rambled across the boards and invented a groundbreaking method on his very own. *sigh*

Oh no, didn't you know? He went to his garden and picked herbs that he knew had cleansing properties, then went into his kitchen and picked fruits and vegetables that he knew were hydrating.. experimented then took his findings to a lab. It says so on the site, so it must be true.

This one's been around a while, and IIRC, someone from the company actually posted on LHC a few times, trying to get their point across.

It's basically an expensive CO type system.

It has fans, for sure, but CO's not for me, so I'm not intrigued.

I think its crazy how expensive their Conditioners are. I wish people knew that you can wash hair with any light conditioner, and not just Wen. They act like theyre soooo special.Does anyone know where the idea of CO originated in the first place?

I don't know if she really made it up, but in Curly Girl Lorraine Massey makes it sound like she invented it.

To her credit, she does tell people they can use cheap conditioner as long as it's cone-free, and her branded No-Poo is not exalted as a mandatory purchase.

I saw it on QVC the other morning when I couldnt sleep. Was wondering about it and decided to forget spending so much money on my hair products.
