    Default Co-wash and dandruff :(

I began co-washing and I liked it, but after one week, I have dandruff!! I believe that I go away to returning to my former routines: I wanted to use oils in my hair, and they all were making it terrible, products cone-free leaves my hair horrible, and now, finally, the co-wash gives me problems in my scalp. :trainwreck:

I have got tired. I am going to return to my dear products fructis, loreal, kerastase, bla bla bla. The natural products dont work for me.
The only thing that I am going to support is no hairdryer, dyes, etc, or, not to attack to my hair. But nothing more. I am going to stop experimenting.

By all means, do what works for your own hair!

Tea tree oil is helpful for my flakes. I add a few drops to my shampoo--I use Burt's Bees since my hair seems to like sulphate-free. I don't know how TTO would work with CO, since I've never gotten CO to work very well for me, but you could try it if you want to try to continue COing.

I am sad, because the co-washing seemed to have solved the dryness of my hair, but I cannot support that my scalp gets damaged.
Anyway thank you for the inconvenience taking in answering and thank you for the advice.
    you are very nice.

You're welcome! Have you tried sulphate-free shampoo? That might give you the cleansing you need to avoid dandruff, while not being as drying.

I have not proved it, because I am very lazy to be reading labels, but I will have to prove it. Thank you again

Hi. Perhaps you could try using a mild shampoo on your scalp only. The rest of your hair you can wash with Conditioner.

I understand the desire to stop experimenting. I often tell myself that, but then get bored with my routine and go out looking for something "better"

Sometimes we have to go back to what works for us.
And if it works, then that's the success, isn't it?

If you're worried about dryness you could try CWC and coat your length with conditioner before shampooing.

You could also dilute your shampoo with water so it's more gentle but still cleansing.

Good luck with your hair growth.

My length from the ears down gets conditioner but rarely does it get shampoo. I agree shampoo your scalp and use conditioner for the rest of your hair.
