    Post Cassia results, anyone?

I've been curious about cassia for a while, and have poked around on the cassia thread a bit, but I'm really curious as to how much change in colour there is. As a brunette, I'm especially curious as to how much it affects brown hair, but I'd love to hear about all of your results!

Before and after pictures would be the best, if possible.

I'm a redhead now (cassia was the gateway drug to henna, lol) but I used cassia twice on my previously peroxided blonde hair (with some ashy and grey roots). I tried everything I could to prepare it for dye release. I really wanted it to dye my hair. It did not, at all.

It did make it shiny though.

I dyed my hair a light ash blond (stopped dying 2 months ago, naturally a dark blond), my hair darkened and turned more golden, and shiny of course. I never try for color, just mix it up and slap it on. I do leave it on for 1-3 hours though. My hair didn't darken a ton, it's still pretty light, but it definitely changed color. Unlike henna (from what I have been told), the color doesn't seem to build up. It doesn't seem any darker the 3rd app of cassia then the first one.

Sorry I don't have any before and after pictures. I still haven't taken a decent hair picture to post here, I should get on that.

I wouldn't think you would notice much, if any, color change from cassia. It may make your hair slightly more golden, but then again, it may not. Do you want color change? If not I think some people mix the stuff up immediately put it on their head and only leave it one for like 45 mins. If you are worried about any possible color, I suggest test some hair from your brush or a strip of hair from the back of your head.

I used it a few times, and you couldn't tell by looking at it that I'd tried it.

The thing for me was that I could stretch washes some.

Cassia didn't change my natural hair color at all.

A straight cassia application on my hair doesn't change the hennaed length at all

Didn't change my color, but a mostly objective observer thought it helped tone down some of the brassiness that I tend to get.

I have medium blonde hair, and cassia gave it some golden tones. I now add a tablespoon or two of henna to the mix to give it just a hint of strawberry.

I've used cassia twice, and it gave my hair a greenish tinge. Nice.
