I'm bumping this, as I am also in Portland and wondering if anyone has any good sources for henna. Thanks in advance!
Hey everyone. I'm going to Portland, OR for a week or two starting this Saturday, and I want to do a two-step henndigo. I was wondering if there's a place to buy good BAQ henna and indigo (hopefully near a bus line). I'm going to stop by Srider's in Tigard, but I'd love to have back up places to go to.

I found some henna at Srider's in Tigard, but I'm not 100% sure it's BAQ..

Have you used it yet? I may have to make a trip to Tigard. After some internet searching I think the Indian grocery store in Beaverton may have pure henna. Thanks for the response
Srider's has Reshma henna. It says 100% pure henna, but I haven't opened it yet. It smells like henna to me. The only thing that bothers me is that the outside says "golden tones" instead of something to the effect of "bright freaking red."

Maybe Reshma henna gives a more golden color? I would love to see some photos after you have hennaed with it
*bump* any henna for hair on the east side or lower west side?
When I know better, I do better.
