Step by Step Guide to Your Signature Picture

First, a quick review of the guidelines:
~ Members with 25+ posts may have a signature.
~ Signatures are limited to a total of three lines.
~ One of those lines may include your signature picture, which is stored on TLHC server.
~ Your signature picture may be 400 pixels wide X 200 pixels high or 9.8 KB, whichever is smaller.

OK, on to the instructions!

STEP 1
Go to User CP from the banner at the top of the page. Then, to the left, click on Edit Options. Scroll down to Miscellaneous Options, and select and save either Standard Editor or Enhanced Interface from the drop-down box. This also fixes the problem of the missing smilies. If you know that you have already chosen one of those settings, then go directly to Step 2.



STEP 2
Again from User CP, click on Edit Signature. Then, enter the URL of a remotely hosted picture, at Photobucket for example, into the box. Be sure not to have http://www. twice! Or, browse your computer's files to find the picture. Finally, upload, insert, and save, or preview and then save. Note: If you are adding a signature picture for the first time, you will not see Insert Signature Picture until after you have clicked Upload.



Congratulations! You should now be able to see your signature picture!

Helpful Hint:
If you are having trouble getting your picture to be small enough (KBs), try opening it in Microsoft Paint and then saving it again. Paint saves pictures at a lower resolution than some other programs. That means that you will be able to have a larger picture (pixel dimensions).

O look at that I don't have to type the color=purple things anymore The only thing is I can't get my picture on the bottom. It's just a link and not a picture I've been fighting with my computer about it but it keeps winning

Please please please can we do something about this three line limit? Because what I've put into my signature is NOT three lines once on screen. It's three lines in the text box which is significantly smaller and it's like "LOL NO!" We need more like 5 lines in the box to create 3 lines on screen.

Remke, just follow the steps in the picture with the red circles in my first post, and you will get it, I'm confident.

No, the three line limit is it. I'm not sure why you've had trouble adding a third line, Pegs. I've put one in there now, and it accepted it.

I see someone (Flaxen) has edited my signature to put in the words "line three" where the third line is... but the thing is if i put any formatting on the text going there it won't work.

The following is what I want my sig to have:

Tall blonde lets out a cry of despair, says "woulda cut it myself if I knew men could climb hair"
SIGPIC HERE
TEAM LULZ FTW

But err... it's not accepting that and it's totally not over the third line O_O WTF?!
