    Default Elastic round your wrist?

Do you keep an elastic round your wrist to tie up your hair?

I put one there every morning, even if I'm already wearing one in my hair. Always pays to have one - even if I don't use use, someone else might, and they have a multitude of other uses.

I do. Always, even if I have four in my hair (like today). Hm, you could loose the one(s) in your hair, couldn't you...?

It was quite funny a while ago, I had again a braid with four elastics and another round my wrist. We had sports lesson on that day and half our girls didn't have any elastics with them. It went like this: "Natt i nord, can I have one of your elastics please? I don't have one" - "Oh, natt i nord, you have so many elastics. Do I get one?" - Can I have one too? I've forgotten mine"

At the end I had one for me. Of five.

I don't carry an elastic with me usually (although there are probably a few in the bottom of all of my purses, heh) but I do always make sure that I have a set of hairsticks in my purse. It's almost the same thing right?

No, because I use what I think are called terry elastics - they're black fabric, and have no metal. That makes them rather wide (perhaps 1cm?) and as they get older and stretch they look more and more skanky when they're not twisted round my hair and I use them until they lose almost all their stretching ability. Definitely not a good look on my very thin wrists

LOL, that happens to me all the time too I'm always first port of call when people forget an elastic.

I went to school the other week with lots of little bracelets that are actually made of springs and a couple of people thought they were hair ties (as if something that thin would ever hold my hair, hehe). I said something like 'and even I don't wear that many elastics' (I was wearing about 15 of the bracelets) and one friend gave me an indulgent smile and just said, 'Um, yes Fern, you DO.'

I voted "no, or very rarely." I always keep an elastic with me in my purse. I prefer to wear my bracelets on my wrists and don't like combining.

    Nope. For two reasons.

One: there was one time in high school that I forgot I had one around my wrist and it cut into my skin. Like, there was blood. Granted, it was an elastic with that metal thing, but still... I'm kind of scarred.

Two: Whatever I do with my hair in the morning, that is how it stays. So, there's not much use in carrying anything with me. I do keep a comb, brush, and tie in my purse. But, I've never used them.

I only have two elastics that can fit around my wrist and the only time I wear them is if I take them off at home and then put them on my wrist.

Wouldn't be caught dead like that! I like to dress well, so wearing elastic around my wrist would look very tacky, like wearing tennis shoes with a suit

My Ficcares and sticks wouldn't fit around my wrists anyhow. The only elastics I use are tiny little silicone ones at the tip of my braid and they would fit my fingers rather than wrists.
