Can't Log In? Whitelist Error?

1. Clear your cookies and cache.
2. Make sure you are logging in to the right place.

forums. longhaircommunity.com log in works.
Mane Board (or any board) log in works.
www. longhaircommunity.com log in works.
longhaircommunity.com log in does not work.

"In order to accept POST request originating from this domain, the admin must add this domain to the whitelist."

This seems to only happen when I use the main page to log-in. From what I can tell it's not on my side. I have no problem logging in if I go to the forums page first, if that helps at all.

Anyone have an Idea what's up?

Go to this thread, the last sticky on the page you posted the question to.
It seems to be a frequent issue with new users, and I think there's a simple fix.

I'm definitely not a new user and it happens to me if I try to log in on the main page. if I go to the forums THEN log in- no problem. Of course I have everything set to "remember me" so I don't have to log in but on the computer maintenence where the cookies and stuff are deleted, then I have to re-log in.

I had exactly the same problem recently. Going to "forums" does indeed work...

Wonder what kind of a problem it is, though? It doesn't seem to happen absolutely all the time.

I'm definitely not a new user, and it only happened when I tried to log in through firefox at home. Interent explorer would always let me in (using www.longhaircommunity.com), and so would my work computer firefox browser... It wasn't to do with how old the system was, because I use new systems *and* I'm thorough about updating my software - in fact, that was almost the forst thing I checked.

Anyway, glad I know how to get around it!!

Never mind, got it. Thank God. I am having enough issues with this stupid phone I have. It's not a smart phone, and I'm having troubles adjusting to it's dumbness. lol

Yep, thats what I get a lot of the time when I try to log in from my mobile.
