Awwww, so nice of you to say. What I like about yours is how the very ends go into a ringlet. I guess my curls are too stretched out to do that. This is your curl pattern: http://clipground.com/images/curly-clipart-11.jpg and this is mine: http://worldartsme.com/images/long-ribbon-clipart-1.jpg If yours isn't 3b then it's tight 3a. At that length mine is just wavy. It's going to see what yours turns into at mid-back.
Thank you Stefan1994 and Sarahlabyrinth!

Spirals, I can't find your post anymore (I think it was in this thread?) Yes the multitextured hair seems to be pretty common. Most of the time my underlayer is s-wavy, often between 2a and 2b. But every once in a while those are those few spiralling culrs. It took me a long time to get used to this (as you might remember I used to have completely straight hair) but now I am in peace with it. I usually put my hair into 2 cinnabuns when it's almost dry, it will give me nice, more uniform texture.
The vintage actress you posted is stunning! I was not familiar with her name but she looks so... modern. She could be a contemporary woman. Timeless I guess is a better word, it's hard to situate her in specific time.

Another silly gif but damn I wish I did not have to brush my hair and could just keep my natural texture, washed it yesterday and it was pretty much dried this morning. But had to put it up for work but did not brush it, after wash day I do not brush or comb for like two days just to be able to enjoy my wurls and leave a little tail out while the rest is bunned.
I don't know what happened to it, internet blip I guess. It was Dorothy Lamour, star of movies like The Road to Bali: https://images.fineartamerica.com/im...40-everett.jpg

psst, spirals and Arctic, it was in The Random Hair Thoughts Megathread:
I'd actually clicked on the links that were added later and thought how much the front of my hair does the Dorothy Lamour thing! My ex-bangs, more face-framers are mouth-down when stretched and work well for that look.
Ligeia Noire, that's a great gif that shows the texture and fullness (oh, so much fullness) well! And I'm hearing you on the texture loss once it's brushed. Mmmf.
