Zizyphus Spina Christi (sedr)?

This is a new powder available on HennaSooq. It supposedly gives the same benefits as henna but without the color. Anyone try it?

I've tried it before. I got it from Mehandi..glad to see Hennasooq has it now. This powder is amazing! Gives great shine, enhances curls and conditions like no other. The only downside I found to it is that is a b*tch to get it out of your hair. I rinsed for a long time and I could still find stuff in my hair later.

What exactly is this powder? I have sworn off all things color but would love the benefits of henna to pump up my puny hair. Could someone drop a link or some breadcrumbs perhaps? I would be ever so very grateful!

This is just a plant. It doesn't impart any color whatsoever

if anyone tries it keep us updated. I'm wondering how it compares to cassia. I thought I read the zizyphus effects doesn't last as long as cassia or henna? And cassia doesn't give the same effects henna has on my hair, but it would be nice if zizyphus might work without building up the color....?

Think of it more as a conditioning treatment.
