Default Hair Twisters and Pony Tail Wrap

Not trying to advertise. The Renaissance Festival will start this weekend in Atlanta and I was looking to shop for some new hair toys. These wraps are going to be for sale there - has anyone used them? Safe for hair?

I was thinking this might be a good wrap for top down convertible days.

Those look awesome! The pony tail wraps, though - I wouldn't suggest the longest length for wearing while driving, because I wonder how comfortable it would be to lean back on one of those wire coils...

    I want one, though!

I like that the ends of them seem to be hammered flat, and so they don't look like they'd catch on the hair.

    You enabler, you! :-D
Yikes, chopped it all off, starting with virgin growth. Currently shoulder length.

hmmm i bet i could make one of those... it looks easy enough... i dont think ill use such shiny wire though it would distract from my shiny red hair.

Are those the same as hair screws? I got a long hair screw at the my local Ren. faire 2 weeks ago, and I lovvvvvve it. I have the trinity knot charm at the end on mine. I always thought it would be difficult with my crazy curly hair, but it's sooo simple I love it. Especially good for when I clean, no hair gets in my way!

    i made myself one!

it took like 10 minutes to make it... but i was also playing fetch with my dog... it was pretty easy..
oh and i didnt put a loop at the end to put a charm on because i dont want to get a loop or a charm tangled in my hair... i think my version is much safer for hair than the ones with charms

That's awesome, SF! So pretty! I was sitting here thinking of making my own too but unfortunately I'm out of wire, except for some really thin stuff that wouldn't work. I think I'll pick up some new wire while I'm out shopping this weekend and try my hand at making one, too!
