vinegar?
garlic is an aphrodesiac in my house. I don't have to rid my hair of it.
I just did a hair recipe that called for garlic now I reek of it. How can I get thsi smell out of my hair? I co'd, shampooed, eo'd , vinegaer rinsed and nothing is helping

I've heard vanilla is a good odor eliminator. I don't know how you'd use it though, it would be nicer than vinegar though.

Tomato juice is supposed to be very good for getting rid of odours. I hear people use it if you get sprayed by a skunk.
Not sure what exactly it would do to the hair but should be OK. Although if it doesn't work and the garlic and tomato combine you might smell like an Italian restaurant.
Scope or listerine in a weak rinse through the hair should take care of it.
If it helps, next time you need garlic in hair, go to the vitimin section and get liquid capsules of deodorized garlic, that way you can keep the stinkies away!

Maybe a tea rinse? People suggest putting your hands in wet tea leaves to get rid of the smell of garlic from chopping, so it might help.
