How do you decide if you've hit shoulder? Draw a line from the tops of the shoulders? It will be a couple more months before I'm there with dry hair (and letting my natural waves be my qualifier).
I'm still here as well as far as I can tell I have about an inch left until I officially reach shoulder. Maybe less.

I just noticed that I am about a half inch away from shoulder length!! Just thought I'd share since I don't often post, but do love reading that others are getting close too!!
Grow, Lady Sparkleloc, grow!
I think I might be there, but my ends are still so flippy that it doesn't count unless I pull them straight. I'm forever so close...
man, the wait between shoulder and APL is going to drive me nuts.

Anyone else feel that once hair hits the shoulders, it just looks awful all the time? Mine won't lay properly, has terrible shape, and just looks plain bad. I guess that is sort of typical of a grown out hairstyle but it drives me crazy.
Mine is just shy of CBL and it is driving me nuts. The ends are flipping in different ways and would probably only do something coordinated with a lot of heat styling, which I have tried not to use. Also, since I did so many mullet chops while I waited for the front to grow out, I have lots of baby hairs underneath any updo in the back. I know it must be growing, at least a little, but it still feel interminably long before I get to shoulder and anything beyond that and feel like my look is very blah right now. I just started an inversion challenge this week, with coconut oil, in the hopes that will pep it up a little. What are your secrets for not going nuts with the shorties, especially on LHC where most people are rocking the Galadriel lengths?
