TBL and loose. My har was basically undone 360 days of the year :P Thick, straight and jet-black.

I had started CO-ing three years earlier. Didn’t use heat or bleach. Thank goodness my younger self was somewhat sane, haircare-wise.

Picture of 13-year old guska’s hair, because I don’t have any pics on my phone from when I was 14 lol. French braid done by my best friend

I had to dig out the photo album!
So in 7th grade, it was long-- I'd say MBL. In my 7th grade photo, I had apparently either crimped it or, more likely, braided it all over to get the crimped look. I don't think I had a crimper so probably braids.

In my 8th grade photo it's chin length and straight, so I must have chopped it that summer and probably used the blow dryer on it.

Later in high school I had it longer, like almost waist... then right before college I chopped to chin again. (I was in a play and didn't know you weren't supposed to get an un-approved haircut!)

It was in high school I learned that I could scrunch my hair and wear it curly. It's funny looking back at middle school pics, I can see all this curl and wave trying to come out but I used the blow dryer every day and never considered I might have curl until high school.

I hate how hairdressers and moms mess and fluff childrens' hair. they give me the cringes because my folicles hate to be pulled in a different direction. it's a strange sensation of hair being pulled by a heavy hand or a bad positioned hair clip. oh and when I had short hair my hair was practically gelled spiky instead of natural laying hair. so tell me again about haircuts making the hair falling natural on your scalp (?) lol
Well I don't have [volume on the] crown because I'm not a queen.

Bra strap length, the very bottom part slightly layered (even though I always told my hairdresser I didn't want any layers or thinned out ends), always down, sometimes blowdried straight. Not dyed, somewhat healthy, but not really (because of blowdrying, my hair can't stand any sort of heat styling).

My hair was tailbone length without any layers but a few months before 15 birthday I got bangs and got it trimmed to the waist. Not long after that my hair got a bit more frizzy and waves started to form although my hair used to be pin straight. I was quite happy with my haircut and my hair in general even though I sti wanted short hair but my mom didn't let me to cut it.
