It was kinda windy today, and I wanted to do something I don't normally do with my hair. So I decided to try something a bit odd: a four-piece braid, one of the pieces being a bandana. It took a while, but I'm really happy with how it came out.

    And from the front:

I'm really happy with it. It's so cute and funky, and it's really comfortable. Definitely doing this more often.

That is really neat...I could never get those to stay in my hair without slipping.

    I love your hair color

I love it! I've done this before, but with ribbon because my hair is a) thinner/finer and b) now all that long

That's an awesome way to do a braid, I seriously can't wait until my hair is longer so I can try this out! My hair is to my shoulders and has too many annoying layers. It is so HARD to try and keep in a braid without it slipping out because of the layers.

Good idea. I like to braid thin scarves or ribbons into my hair, too.

I read your sentence as "...one of the pieces being a banana"

    dear me
    shoulder - apl - bsl - WAIST - elbow
