It got wavier as it dried! I'd say solid 2a; those waves are too lively for 1c/2a and straight roots don't really count (we've seen so many people have straight roots then discover not just waves but even curls at longer lengths! So straight roots don't mean very much, in my opinion).

I'll type as 2a then. I just went to take a picture of my hair fully dry but it looks exactly like 2 hours ago so I saw no point on posting it xd Thank you all!

Agree with that. First I was leaning on 1c, but there's some individual waves in there, so I'm thinking it's smack dab in the middle of 2 markers.

Ah, this is the right thread for these pictures. Here's my hair, washed with Nizoral and then conditioned with Aussie 3-Minute Miracle. I detangled as much as possible in the shower, then air-dried (shaking my head occasionally to keep it from plastering to my scalp). I don't have facing mirrors, so one is a zoomed-in picture of my back using a cabinet mirror and the other is a more detailed view of my hair when I bend to the side.

I think 1b/c. There is a bit of body to it.

Thanks! I always thought the wavier hairs were outright curled -- 2b or c -- because they get curlier when exposed to humidity while dry. I've found my own hairs on the floor completely wound into S-waves. But perhaps this is a function of something else that happens to it after it dries?

What you are showing us here is definitely in a 1 category, not a 2, and for sure not a 3.

But, if it helps, it's not uncommon for someone to have hairs that are "different" on the head, but that doesn't change the overall category, if that makes sense?
