Do you regularly oil scalp, length, both, or none

I do both, I have very dry skin and my scalp soaks it up! I also use conditioner on my scalp in the shower, if I don't, I get flakes. I'm currently using Amalaki scalp oil but I also love Argan oil. For my length I rotate between rose, jojoba, argan and pumpkin seed oils. I always oil pre-shampoo if I have time and put a drop on my ends at night after braiding.

I think there definitely should have been a "sometimes" option, i.e. I don't regularly oil my scalp, but it's not like I never do.

I do regularly lightly oil my length after washes, though!

I regularly oil my length very lightly along with a little water from a spray bottle and used to do more heavy oiling including on the scalp. My hair seemed to love it but there was much more shedding than usual and it wasn't due to aggressive massaging, so just the length for the most part. My ends are dry, but even a drop of oil leaves them looking stringy. I plan on trying a moisturizing mask or doing an SMT soon.

I tried using coconut oil once and it took forever to get out. I was slimy for days 😅 I don't oil my hair

I used to oil my scalp in the very beginning of my hair journey (it was horrible), I spent a decade religiously oiling my lengths, eventually stopped because I discovered that it was making zero difference on my hair. Other things were working, but I thought it was the oil. Now I only put a few drops on my ends after washing, that's all.

I use to oil my scalp and length once a week during a night. I use gradual oiling too every day sometimes two times per day only on my length.

I oil my length but not my scalp because it's already on the oily side.

I really only oil my scalp before using a shampoo (I wash with conditioner every other day, shampoo once a week) then lightly oil my ends every night.

I haven't oiled my scalp for years.

I stopped oiling my scalp because for some reason it increased my hair shedding, but I oil my hair with coconut oil all the time.
