I oil the lengths of my hair every day, and occasionally oil my scalp (probably about 1-2 times per fortnight)

I regularly oil my scalp and length
I don't oil
I prefer to use cheese
I mainly oil the length, before each wash. I don't specifically oil the scalp (I break out a bit if I do), but I do give my scalp a little massage while the oil is on my hair, and so some does get on my skin.

I only oil the length. i oil my scalp occasionally.
I apply coconut oil once in a week as a prewash and olive oil at the end of week as deep conditioning because i don't use conditioner
Trying to grow my hair to TB length as soon as possible
I oil my scalp with jojoba oil + essential oils at least once a week, accompanied with a nice scalp massage. I use a little coconut oil on my ends before I bun them, and loads of coconut oil in lengths and ends the night before I wash.
After I color my hair, I soak it with Dabur Vatika oil - somehow this seems to be good for scalp, hair and color, too.
Sometimes I use almond oil, olive oil or avocado oil, sheabutter or other oils that I keep stocked. I love oil and coconut oil has been my best friend since I discovered it. It's wonderful for my lashes, facial skin, upper arms and feet.
I use Parachute, IMO the best coconut oil ever. It's even nicer than Dabur Vatika and Monoi, which were my favorite coconut mixtures before I discovered Parachute.

I primarily oil my scalp and ends, but I do comb my hair through with a wide tooth comb before I braid it, so I guess the length get a little as well. What is best to oil anyways, scalp or length?

I soak the lengths of my hair in evoo and leave it in overnight before every wash, two to three times a week. Now and then I apply a lighter oil, like camellia, to the lengths post-wash.
I oil my hair before every washing, but sometimes I also oil the scalp.

Using oils has literally been maybe the best thing I've ever done for my hair.. ever. Can't imagine not oiling it!
Every time I get out of the shower, I've been massaging a little bit of a home-made oil combo into my scalp, and then running my palms over the length. When I get to the ends I rub a little more into the ends and bingo. No greasiness, nice shine, lots less frizz!
My recipe is:
auraglo lavender scent (this already has a bunch of oils mixed together) - 40%
castor oil - 40%
EVOO - 15%
argan oil - 4%
lavender EO - 3 drops
I love it! I've been using it on my face, elbows, knees and feet too. I've been using oil on my face for a while, but once I started using the mix with castor oil, my red blotchy scars from long-cured acne have faded a ton.
