How often do you wash your hair??

I wash everyday. I find the easiest way to do it is at the same time everyday kneeling over the bathtub using a showerhead attachment and the oil shampoo method. This means I don't need to do any prewash oilings and I don't need to follow up with conditioner afterwards. Also, oil shampoo makes my hair dry much faster. I just scrape a tiny amount with a butter knife and place it on the edge of the bathtub and after I thoroughly soak my hair with water I mix the coconut oil with some shampoo until it lathers then I massage my scalp with it and rinse well. Very fast, easy, and effective. To dry, I squeeze the water out, use a microfiber hair turban, then constantly flip my head upside down and shake it around and it air dries in 30 minutes.

Kidari, that sounds really interesting and your hair looks lovely and shiny in your pic. I worry about using too much oil though as my scalp does get so greasy.

i wash it once a week, or in every 5th day

I wash it every 3 or four days, I am trying to stretch it. But I have naturally very dry hair, so if I washed even day it would break off.

I co-wash it once a week, I started co-washing about a year ago and have gone from washing my hair about three times to just once every week, I happy about that.

Thanks, seamaiden! Yes, it's my hair..back in the late 1980s. That shine is from brushing 100 strokes daily with my pure bbb!

Right now I shampoo my hair 3 days a week and conditioner only 3 more days. I'm doing this while I am doing honey lightening treatments 3 days a week and monistat treatments 3 days a week. I used to wash my hair every 3rd day and it was working well for me.
