What is your hair color level?

Mine's between 3 and 4, but it looks more like a 4 when it's down because the lighter hairs are concentrated in the canopy, especially around the face. (Not counting the "sparklies" that are coming in with age, of course.)

Mine was a 7 before henna.

However, my hair naturally has a red shade. There's nothing red in this level-thing, or am I wrong..?

My natural is between 6 and 7 with red tones in it. With my henna/cassia it's a really light copper. Hair is sopping wet in my siggy though, lol.

I am closer to 1 than to 2, I have my hair in bright sunlight naturally looks 2 ( no highlights ,not red tones just dark). in regular light it looks pitch black

I have to use black blue to dye my hair back to my natural color and that is the only one that doesn't show my roots. I have like Asian hair!

ETA: my hair turned like purple with henna, you can't tell unless it's in the sun. try honey lightening before henna, I did it 10 times and then I hennaed and it showed better.it just got shiny really really shiny and healthy.

My hair is so black it's not even funny. Asians naturally have very dark hair, but compared to my friends, my hair is one or two shades darker than their hair. I HATED it so much I started to dye/highlight my hair since I was 15 in various shades of red, pink, brown, purple and BLONDE. But I've finally embraced my jet black locks since I just realized what a rarity they are and how many people compliment me on how much they love my pure black hair. xD
