Microtrimming and Maintaining Club!

I tried S&D last night, it gave me an eye-ache trying to see all these little hairs (I sold like an old lady)... How do you guys do it??? Do you sit down for an hour and search or do you just snip when you see them?

I sit down between an hour to a few hours; sometimes I go on a roll and can't stop. Usually 1 hour every day for 1 week starting off with small sections until I go around my entire head. I've done it twice and has made a huge difference with less knotting. So yes, I've S&D'd for a total of 14+ hours

I think another six months of maintaining and i will have ends I'm much happier with - already there is a big difference from six months ago.

Yay that is great hopefully you haven't reached terminal and you can get to your goal

Once I'm happier with my ends I might continue growing and see what happens.

I don't think my hair will grow to floor length but I would be happy at ankle if I can get there.

Ankle is still a great length if I ever got to floor myself I'd possibly cut back to ankle

It had been about 8 weeks since my last micro-trim. Trimmed one snip of 2mm and did a little s&d on the top half of my hair. When I s&d I trim just above the split, or just above a bend, only if it looks like the bend will break on it's own. Hair has grown from 31 to 32 inches. Lower half of hair continues to look thinner around below bsl. I don't really feel like cutting more will help, as I have a hair length goal, but will re-evaluate in another 8 weeks.

That's good growth, even with a little trim. I think the rest will thicken up with time.
