Default Mixing indigo and manic panic

I want to indigo my hair to darken it, and also want to use a red red Paintbox dye, does anyone think I can just mix them together and do it in one step? I've already hennaed my hair 3 times so there's a good base. I was thinking like, one tablespoon indigo into all the red paintbox dye for my below-shoulder hair.

If you want it darker, why use the manic panic in that colour? Why not get a darker shade? Or pile on the henna applications for a darker colour?

I'd do the dye seperately, anyway. Maybe the Manic Panic will effect the indigo's dye release? Hopefully someone with more experience can help. I don't know much about indigo or what colour you'll get with it.

Indigo will not work with manic panic, not when applied together. Apply Indigo first wait a day for color development and then apply your deposit only dye.
