That's a hard decision for me personally because I know with my super-fine hair my ends are going to be dry if I have any length at all. If I have to choose though, condition is more important and the reason I haven't made it to waist length in all the years of growing. I chop it off because it's too dry or too thin. Right now I'm choosing length and will start maintaining at waist when I get there and see if I can thicken my hemline and control the dryness.

Condition but kind of both... I understand that split ends can cause hair to grow less quickly (maybe I'm not understanding this right... correct me if I'm wrong hair experts) so even though that trim feels like a sacrifice I tell myself it's worth it in the long run for both condition and length!

Condition is the most important. I'd much rather have shorter healthy hair than long but damaged hair

Length. I can always improve the condition.

    Hurray! I've reached waist-land! Last trim 1-2-23.

Assuming we're not in the thickness travelling down or growth stages, it's condition over length for me.
