Me, either, but I googled and found this on 1000 Days of Hair. I was actually shocked that I was able to do it soon. My braid just reached to complete the circle.

Wheee... Now I'm a post closer to being able to see all the links and pictures.

I always have trouble with posing pics. I can never seem to get them embedded in the post. Sorry about that!

I colored the bottom layers of my hair with Manic Panic a few days ago. I did not bleach, so the color is deeper (less bright) but it is still quite clear that it has been colored.

hhmmm .. ok... this did not work out well at all.
First, I don't have enough hair; second, its not long enough; third, I can't braid

This is just BAD! But if you guys want a laugh, here it is:

I love mixing up my oils!

    Well, at least I tried:

Something went very, very wrong with the braid, to say the least, lol. I think it's partially that I started the braid too close to my nape, and partially that my braid tapers quite a lot. Still, I really wanted to try something new, since I only ever do cinnamon buns and English braids.

I attempted this yesterday but the thinner section for cinnabunning made it turn into more of a bee-butt bun! I liked the look of having something different to wear though, so I will attempt it again before the month is out.

twilight_faerie I also had the problem with the braid! I did mine right up to my nape, so you could see it joining my cinnabun!

Everyone looks GREAT!! What's with all the "it didn't turn out," "it looks wrong," "at least I tried," etc.? Love it, own it, you look wonderful.

This is cute! Next time use a smaller scrunchie. The picture helped me see that I won't need to be a super-duper long hair to make this bun. So thanks for posting it even though you didn't think it looked good.

I did one of these with a figure-8 bun:

I was copying this style from the Age of Innocence - she did it better, but I think her's is a wig. (that's what I say to myself when I can't copy movie styles as well as I want to :P )
