I use oil shampoo followed by a vinegar rinse. The oil in the shampoo gives me just the amount of moisture I need and the rest washes away, and then the acid rinse does the detangling job.

I think my hair is a bit thicker than fine though not all the way to medium.

I dilute my conditioner and don't leave it in very long. I use coconut oil every week or so, whenever I feel my hair needs it. I prefer the oil to conditioner.

I just tried CO today (using the NG cond.) and it somehow was all greasy, so I'm not sure if I should have just used a different one..
Still got lots to learn. But I know, without any conditioner my hair feels just very frizzy..
I use the Nature's Gate henna conditioner, I like it so far. It does help with the shine. I use it diluted, though, maybe you would have better luck if you tried that? I hope you find something that works for you.

I went with "light conditioner" since I wash by slathering my hair with Suave Naturals conditioner. So much less flyaway madness than when I washed with shampoo!

I have very fine hair, about medium thickness. My ponytail is about 2" in circumference. I've been trying different things the last year. What I've narrowed it down to is:
SMT-snowy's moisturizing treatment. I use it before washing, letting it sit for as long as possible. Use it before final rinse.
    Coconut oil the canopy.

The last couple washings I've used castor oil, left it on overnight, next day, wet it down, apply smt, let it sit for hours, then shampoo scalp, apply rest of smt, shave, etc. rinse. My hair feels the best it has ever felt. I also do a clarifying shampoo every 6 weeks or so. Stuff builds up.

I put other. I CO wash. I have fine hair but it has always been dry.

I use oils and pretty heavy conditioners from my ears down. Despite having fine hair I live in the desert and it's still incredibly dry

I put other because I use conditoner after each wash now and a little oil with each comb out.

Where is the Yes option? O.o
I use tons of heavy conditioners, oils, etc, pre and during washing. As long as I don't leave them as a leave-in, it's fine. And if I use oils on my hair as a leave in, I apply when my hair is still wet or just use it sparingly.

I put other because I CO wash with Suave and VO5. But I also use heavier conditioner like GTN on the length.
