How do I put pictures (and album pictures) in my posts?

Flaxen, I see that now, I was just sure it worked like that because that's how I get album pics to show up properly in my blog But obviously you can use the picture url anyway without the .jpg extension, you just have to make sure it's the pic url, not the page url.

Using my own pictures, you have to use

not

the tiny difference bolded. Using the first URL and image tags should make a picture show up:

I don't seem to be able to post pictures in my posts. The pictures I want are at Photobucket and they are also on my album. However, when I copy the IMG from photobucket, and hit paste in my message, nothing happens. Ditto if I highlight the web address at the top of my screen when I am looking at the picture in my photo album here. This has happened on and off in the past, but now it seems to be permanent. I am very frustrated.

Try clicking the picture with the right mousebutton, go on "properties" and then copy the URL from there. Click the little in the top section of the editor and paste the URL in the box. HTH.

Not exactly what I wanted...the link....I cannot seem to get it to work right for me....tried copying the url and pasting..I want the actual picture to show up....oh well.

You just need the [img] [/img] tags around the URL. What a cutie!
