i see alot of female marines with their hair in a bun well one came to my register today and i asked her how she did her hair cause i like it alot.. well she told me with a sock so when i got home today i youtubed/googled it.. well i did it... well since its a protective style and i dont have to use heat... i could keep my ends oiled and my hair up in a military bun! lol who would have thought socks could be so helpful, lol well just curious wonder if it will promote hair growth.. and have any of yall ever wore it before..

I've used the sock bun a lot while I was growning my hair out. I don't do it anymore because now that my hair is longer (only just past shoulder length) its harder to tuck the ends in.

Did you try a Title Only search? Or a Show Posts search?

A title search for "sock" came up with several dozen options, such as:
