Due to my current situation of a couple of days of cone backsliding and the doomed dryer sheet incident, I will be eating cheese for months.
I chose natural hair pattern (or lack of pattern in my case). I love to wear my hair straight and don't have to fuss with damaging straighteners, all I have to do is let it air dry.

Hard to choose BUT I picked "strength" because I seriously have not trimmed my hair, and hardly S&D'd, in fifteen months, and the ends are still split-free and soft. So I am very surprised and gratified by that right now.
The very tips of my canopy are finally starting to show signs of wear, if I look hard, but everything else is OK.
The volume mostly. My hair can get a bit unruly sometimes, but I wouldn't want it any thinner or less 'big'. I also like my waves.

At BSL by my admittedly puny standards, and hopefully on my way to "official" BSL. Grow, hair, grow!
Wow, I must be at a low place with my feelings about my hair. I couldn't pick one thing on this list. Time for an intense oiling and a trim, I guess.
Thickness, definitely. My hair is so very, very fine that it splits if you look at it crossly (and tangles as soon as I let it down).
Although it is shiny and can be soft I am most grateful for having loads and loads of it -- my hair looks thick even to those with coarse hair. To be a baby fine hair and still have a huge braid and enviable hemline I feel is a rare gift.
ETA: Although it is a bit frustrating that I can't do any sort of bun-variation updo. I'm about 1/2 an inch from waist but I can't yet do even a pencil bun, I run out of hair after the first twist!

I chose shine but I love my waves, softness and thickness too!
Buzz October 2015 to get rid of bendigo and lots of other damage, now Al natural and loving it....where will my journey end? I will tell you when I get there. Lifelong Co washer and LOC method currentl approaching curly hip
My favorite quality about my hair is that it is straight...very straight. I also love my natural hair color. But I haven't always loved these things about my hair though. When I was younger, I would get perms and color my hair alot. Now, I have learned to love my hair for how it is and wouldn't want it any other way.
