That was one of the most lovely experiences I’ve had buying something from somebody, on Etsy or elsewhere. I will definitely be back!

I feel like I learned a lot too .

Aside from just the general process, which I had no idea about and is so cool, one of those things is that custom acrylics have a mind of their own and will not look the same twice. Mine is very red and marbled, whereas the Booky original was more coppery with less patterning. I was surprised at first and then surprised that I was surprised, because of course it’s not going to mix the same every time. I think either it will grow on me, or it will keep reminding me of steak and I will find it a loving home with a carnivore and have an excuse for another custom
