Not able to comment on a blog

Yeah it's me again with a blog problem, guess that's becoming a habit
So, there is this blog I cannot leave comments to. It's not that commenting is simply turned off, because others can and do comment on it. But for me, the little "type your comment in here" window beneath the blog entry simply doesn't show.
I suspect it might have something to do with the contacts& friends thing. I know I have the specific person set as contact, not as friend, but I guess this shouldn't matter as we are talking about her blog and not about mine.
So yeah, any reason why this is happening? It is just this blog alone, I've never encountered this problem with other blogs.

I think I know which blog you are talking about. I think it is a contacts and friends issue. In the blog control panel, at the bottom, there are settings for who can view and comment. I think this person has their blog set so that everyone can view but only contacts can comment. HTH.

I didn't know you could only allow contacts&friends to comment, now that makes sense.
