Shea butter is the best! has worked great! i love it, leaves my hair soft, shiny and protects my hair, specially the ends so well. the other oils i have not tried.

But i do recommend very highly the use of Shea Butter, alone or mixed with Aloe vera gel and almond oil. best mix i've tried.

I voted that Shea Butter didn't work for me. It leaves my hair in a glued-together mess, impossible to penetrate with comb or brush.

It works wonders on my skin, though!

I've tried a concoction where Shea is one ingredient in a blend, it seems promising, but I haven't yet tried it for 6 months, so I didn't make any vote to that extent.

That's exactly the same experience I had with shea butter. It didn't absorb well......and it was so difficult to wash out.

Hmm... though I've not tried any of these (yet) myself, I'm quite inspired to try shea butter now, given the results... ^_^

Shea butter works for me, but I haven't used it for 6 months, so no vote. It soaks in nicely, just like coconut oil.

Another vote here for shea butter. I use with a few drops of lavender EO on damp hair and it just soaks right in. I can use smaller amounts of it than any other leave in and still achieve the same results which I'm very happy about. It is easier on my wallet. I'm currently testing out shea butter from different parts of Africa so we will see how that turns out.

Can you change the poll result so that worked + not worked for each oil makes 100 %? It would be much easier to find which oil people like then.

Shea butter mixed with coconut, evening primrose oil and bpal's "Dorian"; is my favorite mix ever. It makes my hair look, feel, and smell divine ! I also use it as a solid perfume. I love using shea butter by itslef as well. It's so creamy and makes my hair so soft.

I just discovered shea butter about a month ago and my hair loves it! I mixed it 1:1 with coconut oil and that's my everything lotion - hair, body, face.
