I use shea butter as leave in, 99% of the time on freshly washed hair, sometimes on dry hair.
I can use quite a lot of it (on wet hair) without it making my hair heavy. It makes my ends feel nice and soft.

Love shea butter for when my hair is a bit more dry-feeling. It almost instantly makes my hair soft and shiny.

Shea worked fine for me, but recently it's been getting a bit heavy. I use it in my hair butter mix which I use for deep oilings and light oilings. For the light oilings I'm trying coconut by itself and at the moment that's fine (I know, coconut wasn't part of this poll)
I put the butter mix in my quick version of the Sheabutter conditioning cream, and there the shea seems to be OK.
Shea butter worked well for me, but I ran out before 6 months, so I didn't vote.
Shea butter has worked well as a leave-in/styling aid. It's less oily than the others and give my hair some body.

My hair loves shea butter and coconut oil mixed together.

Life is like a hot bath...the longer you stay in it, the more wrinkled you get.
shea butter worked well for hair, I just don't like the smell or the texture.
DD uses it in a whipped concoction that I make. (similar to Physicschick's chocobutter, that's what I started with)

shea butter was a no, felt it was too heavy
Out of all oils tried, Shea butter is my favorite, with Coconut Oil being the second.

I voted that jojoba, EVOO, coconut and shea worked for me. And they do each in there own way. If my hair need more moisture EVOO is the best, shea helps my hair feel better but it also makes it tangly so i need to use it with coconut. Coconut eradicates tangles, smells divine, but when i want my hair to loose some protein when i over did it - i don't use it. Also i use avocado oil which isn't listed. It is like a mix of EVOO and coconut oil, it reduces tangles and still feels thick and moisturing.
All the oils i use penetrate the hair proven with research, except jojoba. Jojoba helps my hair feel smooth and it also reduces some tangles and makes my hair shiney but i don't use it often because it is costly. But i find it works better with cones. I shake my oils up all the time, but my favourite is coconut.
I also infused my EVOO with herbs that strengthen hair in the effort that it will make my hair stronger- it is aromatic at the least
There is my 2 cents!
