ha, fun thread.I'm right handed and I (usually) finish over my left shoulder.
Over my left shoulder, I'm right-handed.
Over my left shoulder, I'm left-handed.
Over my right shoulder, I'm right-handed.
Over my right shoulder, I'm left-handed.
Over my head, I'm right-handed.
Over my head, I'm left-handed.
Over the cheese!
I finish braiding over my left shoulder, and I'm right-handed.What about you?
ETA: By over the head, I mean Squiggyflop's method.

don't know whether your hair is brown or red? us neither!
hit my length goal of tailbone ... now learning to maintain and aiming to reduce split ends!
Left shoulder, and I am right handed.

Over the cheese!
I am using both hands equally much, so I'm not properly right handed and not properly left handed either.
And I finish my braids on my left or right side randomly.
(I don't use the over-the-head method, since it makes my braid lay weird and tends to pull oddly on single strands when it's down after finishing the braiding. And I wouldn't reach the tip of my braid that way anymore anyways)
Oooo I just tried to braid over my right shoulder, that was not good at all!
I lost all concept of right and left, up and down, I ended up with braid shred right off the bat!

I'm left handed and finish braiding over my right shoulder because my hair usually rests on/in front of that shoulder.
Left-handed, left shoulder. I don't think I'll have problems braiding over my right shoulder (will try when I get home, am not taking down my bun now), but braiding over my left shoulder is a deeply ingrained habit.
I'b right handed and end braiding over my left shoulder.![]()
Left-handed, right shoulder.
Although I usually do something kind of similar to Squiggy's method, now that I watched the video -- I tilt my chin down and braid straight up (this still works for me because my hair is only waist length, so my arms are just long enough to pull the braid straight up).
Right-handed, right shoulder. Sometimes I do it over the head too, but I find it gives me a looser braid.
