How soon did you start having silver hair?

First noticed a couple of definitely white hairs almost as soon as I turned 30, but they were only a few months old so I really can't be sure if I had any before 30 or not. Now at 33 I still only have a sprinkling (about 10 or so) that I can find when I look for them. I have a fair few translucent hairs from close to my hairline (long though, not baby hairs), but I don't know if they count as depigmented or if those hairs have always grown like that.

I am 37 and I don't have any yet. I think both my parents went grey later than average and I probably take after them. My mum got her first greys in her 40s but the spread has been quite slow. At 70 she still has a lot of brown in her hair.
My dad I remember him being pretty much fully white at 75, but at 50 he would have been more brown/Auburn with a only few greys.

I started going gray when I was in graduate school in my late 20s. Oddly, I'm in my early 30s now and have significantly less gray hairs now that I am no longer in grad school

Stress really can be a contributing factor to going gray! At least it was true in my case.

My first few sparkly ones popped up pretty early in life, around 20 years, that is how it is the common in my family.

It was so gradual I can't remember, not before 30 something I'm sure.....

A few months after my father died I found a white hair in my fringe. I was 27. I pulled it out immediately, putting its presence down to grief. No more white hairs appeared until my forties.

My first was when I was 15. They appeared along with my wisdom teeth, lol. Now I am 33 and fully salt and peppered, with Bride of Frankenstein strips on either side of my head

Right when I turned 20 - I wouldn't mind too much except that now in my mid/late 20s they're starting to cluster at my right temple....
