how to unsubscribe from 78 threads?

Hi each time I visit a thread I automatically become subscribed, I cant remember how I did it and I would like to take off that setting but I'm not sure how to. Can anyone help me with this?

Click on "User CP" near the top of the page on the left.

I know how to unsubscribe from a thread, but I want to know how to change the setting because each time I visit a thread I automatically become subscribed to it and I don't want to subscribe to every thread I click on.
