Default Reliability of new and improved LHC

This is addressed to Stephanie or any of the mods who may know...

I was wondering whether the new and improved LHC is more secure (read: less prone to crashes) than the old one. Do we have more servers space, other bells and whistles to keep The Crash of '08 from happening again?

Just for the record, I have contributed to LHC in the past and will gladly do so again.

(FYI I'm changing the title of this thread so that your meaning is a little more clear.)

Because the current forums have been installed fresh and clean, and because they are running a newer version of the Vbulletin software, I would expect that the reliability and site availability will be better.

That's not to say there won't be bumps in the road as we get settled into our new home, but generally things should improve.

I'm thinking that the privacy factor will keep "certain" traffic down.
