Do You Feel More Beautiful With Your Hair Up or Down?

Normally my wash day is Sunday, but we were so busy at home, that I ended up washing it on Wednesday, right before going for groceries (by a couple hours). I left it down to go grocery shop as my waves are so defined lately that I actually want to wear it out (see profile picture / front facing). I had a great hair day that day and I felt so nice! So yep, on that day I felt amazing with my hair down, but those days are so rare!

I love having mine down, and I think some sibling bullying from a young age made me never want to wear it up (long face, horse face, etc)
These days I feel like I've "grown into" my face, but still have some misgivings about having it up. It's vulnerable since I can't hide as much!

I almost exclusively wear my hair down! Other people like it up but I never feel comfortable with it up at all! I do quite like a half up half down as it gets longer though!

I definitely feel prettier with my hair down, in a soft/ethereal/princess-y way that I absolutely love. But I always always keep my hair up when I'm not at home so I've found a few updos that still make me feel confident and beautiful

I feel more beautiful with my hair down in softly rippling braid waves, the sun illuminating the golden highlights, etc etc.

What actually happens is that I live right next to the sea and pretty much every single day it is windy. And usually humid.
So, it is more than likely it would be wrapped around my head, with bits of trees stuck in it and sea gulls squawking at me.

The two or three days a year I wear it down is dreamy, though.

I definitely feel more beautiful with it down especially when it’s long and curly. But I don’t feel not beautiful when it’s up and a fancy updo feels beautiful in a classy sense.

personally i feel ugly with my hair up and ill rarely wear it down since its more important to me to keep it safe and untangled (:

Down, definitely. Sometimes I like how I look with it up, but it has to be with the right outfit. I wear my hair up for work a lot but don't feel especially beautiful with office clothes and a claw clip.

In general I do feel more beautiful with my hair down.

When my hair is up, how I feel depends on the updo. It's usually either "it's time for business" (Nautilus), "I don't wanna do my hair but it needs to be up" (pretzel log bun w/ two clawclips), or "Why, Mr. Alexander, I must confess that I do fancy that diamond necklace" (literally anything with my sparkly dangly hairstick lol. Bonus fancy if I'm wearing a sleek dress).
